Who's Who at the Rescue

Jess Cytron

Donor Relations Administrator

Jess moved to Fort Collins from St. Louis, MO in 2009 to begin their Bachelor's in Zoology at Colorado State University. Jess has always had a passion for animal welfare and greatly believes in using compassion and education to prevent pet homelessness. Between a high school internship at a local veterinarian's practice and volunteering while in undergrad, Jess found such joy in helping people help animals. In 2013, Jess graduated from CSU and began a career at Animal House Rescue, where they held positions in animal care, client services, foster coordination, and shelter management. In 2019, Jess joined the staff of Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic in a new position, Donor Relations Administrator. Jess is excited to bring their excitement for engaging others in animal welfare to FCCRSNC and to work alongside its incredible donors and volunteers. Jess and their husband Mat have always loved cats! They currently share their home with three rescue dogs (one is from Animal House) and have fostered upwards of 50 dogs so far. Jess hopes to one day be able to welcome cats (adopted or fostered) into their family! Jess and Mat enjoy walking their dogs, being couch potatoes and eating tacos.
