A native of Fort Collins, I attended CSU and earned a bachelor's degree in Biology, followed by a Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Following graduation, my future husband and I moved to his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, where we practiced for four years. In 2000, we seized the opportunity to return to Fort Collins to practice at South Mesa Veterinary Hospital, and eventually became co-owners of the practice in 2002. After 15 years of practice management, I retired from this position in late 2017 to focus on practicing as a relief veterinarian and volunteering in the community.

I have been involved with FCCRSNC since its inception, having served on the original Board of Directors. South Mesa has donated thousands of dollars in medical services over the years and has been an annual sponsor of WWJ. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors again and work with such an amazing group of people.

Our house is never very quiet with twin teenagers, 3 dogs, one cat (an FCCRSNC original), and a chinchilla. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, preferably outside. My hobbies include mountain biking, golfing, skiing, and gardening.
