Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic! We rely on our wonderful, caring volunteers to help with every aspect of our organization. Whether you are looking for some kitty cuddle time, looking to gain experience for school, or are interested in helping us spread the word about the importance of spay and neuter, we have a volunteer position for you! Read about our current Volunteer Opportunities.
We are not able to accept volunteers for court ordered community service at this time.
If the fee is cost-prohibitive, or you prefer to pay by check or cash, please contact the Volunteer Manager to make alternative arrangements.
When you fill out the online volunteer application, you will be contacted with upcoming orientation dates. Orientation serves as an introduction to our organization, our services and policies, and the different volunteer opportunities that are available. Due to seating space limitations at our shelter, you must reserve a spot for the orientation ahead of time. Check out our Calendar of Events for upcoming orientation dates.
Volunteers may hold multiple volunteer positions, as long as they complete the necessary training for each position. At the end of the meeting, you will receive your t-shirt and nametag. Most of the training for volunteers occurs on the job. Your initial meeting with a supervisor helps us determine how much additional training you will need.
Please contact our Volunteer Manager Mandy Lee at Mandy@fccrsnc.org for more information.
