The services in our clinic are available to any pet owner and are focused on the prevention of pet overpopulation and pet disease in our community.
We are a nonprofit, high-quality, low-cost clinic. All of our spay/neuter procedures are performed by licensed, Colorado veterinarians with a tremendous amount of experience performing spays and neuters. Since March of 2007 we have performed over 21,000 spay and neuter procedures on dogs and cats in our community! The money made in our clinic goes back into the organization so that we can help more pets and people in the community through our various services. Rest assured that your beloved pet will be well cared for by animal-loving professionals during their stay! Spay/Neuter procedure prices are as follows: Cat Spay - $59, Cat Neuter - $39, Dog Spay - $84 - $134 (depending on weight), Dog Neuter - $84 - $124 (depending on weight) If you are another shelter or rescue organization, please e-mail or call us to find out about special pricing for your rescue animals. We also offer vaccinations, testing, heartworm testing & preventative, de-wormer, microchipping and more. For a complete price list on the services offered in our clinic please click here. Low-cost vaccination clinics are hosted in our clinic every other Tuesday and Saturday. Click here for more information. Surgeries are typically performed on Monday, Wednesday & Friday and appointments are required. To schedule an appointment or for more information, please call us at 970-484-1861 or e-mail us at spay-neuter@fccrsnc.org Once your pet has an appointment made you can expedite the morning check-in process by printing and filling out the following two forms in advance: All animals serviced at our clinic must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccination, or receive the vaccination in our clinic at the time of surgery for $14. If your pet is up-to-date on rabies you will need to bring proof on the day of their appointment in the form of a rabies certificate from a qualified veterinarian. Rabies tags will not be considered proof of inoculation. Female cats and dogs that are spayed in our clinic will receive a small, green tattoo near their incision site. The tattoo lets people know that this pet has been previously spayed and is especially helpful in the instance of your pet getting lost. |
